We’ll meet at the international departures terminal at Istanbul Airport three hours before our flight. After checking in our luggage, boarding, and going through security, we’ll board our Turkish Airlines scheduled flight to Madrid, and upon arrival, we’ll transfer to the private bus waiting for us at the airport. Our program begins with a panoramic city tour. During the tour, we will see some of the city’s most vibrant squares, including Puerta del Sol, the historic Plaza Mayor, the city’s main boulevard, Paseo de la Castellana, the world-famous Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the bullring, Gran Vía, and Plaza de España. After the tour, we’ll be transferred to our hotel, where you’ll have free time. Overnight stay at our hotel.
MADRID - TOLEDO - SEVILLE
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll head to Seville. We’ll stop for a tour of Toledo along the way. Toledo, founded by the Jews in 590 B.C., is known as the “City of Knights.” Today, it is one of Spain’s most important cities in terms of history and tourism, where people of the three major religions live together in peace. The Tagus River, the largest river on the Iberian Peninsula, flows through the city. It served as the capital of the Kingdom of Spain for a long time. As one of the world’s largest medieval cities, it has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and placed under protection. Highlights include the San Martin Bridge, Damasquinos (Damascene work), and workshops and shops where gold craftsmanship is practiced. After the tour, we’ll head to Seville, where we’ll enjoy a panoramic city tour upon arrival. Places we will visit include Plaza de España and the Golden Tower. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight stay at our hotel.
SEVILLE - RONDA
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll set out for a city tour of Seville. Among the sights we’ll see are Plaza de España, the Golden Tower, Maria Luisa Park—famous for its fountains and gardens—and Plaza de Santa Cruz. After the tour, we’ll head to Ronda with our guests. Ronda is notable for being the last castle the Moors surrendered to the Spanish as they withdrew from the peninsula. Perched atop a massive rock formation on either side of a steep limestone gorge, it is a typical white Andalusian village home to the world’s oldest bullfighting arena. Sights to see include the Casa del Rey Moro, the Palacio Mondragon, and the Puente Nuevo. After the tour, we’ll transfer back to our hotel for free time. Overnight stay at our hotel.
SEVILLE - CORDOBA - GRANADA
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll head to Córdoba. We’ll explore Córdoba, founded during the Roman Empire, which experienced the golden age of Islamic culture under the Umayyad Caliphate of Al-Andalus in the 10th century and was once one of Europe’s largest and most advanced cities. In this enchanting city, renowned for its rich historical fabric, narrow Arab streets, and courtyards adorned with flowers, we’ll see key landmarks such as the Roman Bridge and the Cordoba Mosque (panoramic view), with its unique architecture situated in the heart of the old city, during our panoramic city tour. At the end of the tour, we’ll transfer to our hotel in Granada and have some free time. Overnight stay at our hotel.
GRANADA - VALENCIA
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart with our guests for a tour of the Alhambra Palace (subject to availability). (Excluding the Harem entrance). We will visit the palace, famous for its Arabesque architecture, pools, and gardens, and listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. After the tour, we will head to Valencia for a panoramic city tour. Places we will see on our tour include the Gothic Cathedral, the Micalet Bell Tower, and the fruit orchards famous for their oranges. After the tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel for free time. Overnight stay at our hotel.
VALENCIA - BARCELONA
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll depart for Barcelona with our guests. Upon arrival, we’ll take a panoramic city tour of Barcelona. Highlights of our tour include Plaza de Catalunya, La Rambla, the Christopher Columbus Monument, Plaza de España, and the world-famous La Sagrada Familia Basilica—a masterpiece by architect Antoni Gaudí (a photo stop will be made). After the tour, we’ll transfer you to your hotel in Barcelona, where you’ll have free time to rest. Overnight stay at our hotel.
BARCELONA - GIRONA - FIGUERAS
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll set off on our tour of Girona, Figueras, and the Dali Museum. We’ll visit the city of Girona, known for its medieval architecture, its grand cathedral, and its Jewish quarter. Next, we’ll visit the town of Figueras, the birthplace of the famous artist Dali, and the Dali Museum. After the tour, we’ll transfer you back to your hotel in Barcelona, where you’ll have free time to rest. Overnight stay at our hotel.
BARCELONA - ISTANBUL
After breakfast at the hotel, we will check out of our rooms and transfer to the airport at the time specified by our guide. After completing baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, we will fly to Istanbul on a Turkish Airlines scheduled flight. Our tour and services will conclude upon arrival at Istanbul Airport.
